  6.     1.    When LS and FFIND were used without ANSI.SYS being  
  7.         installed, there were some problems with highlighting.
  8.         EDC had a problem of this nature  when displaying the 
  9.         directory tree. These problems have now been fixed.

  11.     2.    Both versions of READ now use direct screen writes for
  12.         faster pages.  CGA cards are automatically detected and
  13.         horizontal retrace checking is performed to avoid snow.
  14.         
  15.     3.    READ can now handle text modes other than 80 X 25 and
  16.         will configure itself to the mode in use, including 132
  17.         column modes.  LS, EDC, FFIND and CLR have also been
  18.         modified to work properly in extended text modes.
